What is image optimization?

Image optimization is the process by which a piece of graphic art is made ready for the Web. Each image is edited for color quality, cropped, sharpened, and condensed.

Why do it?

Web art can use up a lot of kilobytes, and each byte increases the time a page takes to appear fully on your visitors' screens. Saltmeadow takes your original art and optimizes it for speed and clarity online. Along the way, we use special software to increase the visual impact of each picture you choose. Your images end up loading faster and looking better.
