Our standard design fees for new sites

Starter Sites

Basic:

We offer our original web-page templates, adapted for you, for $240 plus $45/page. These templates constitute the framework of a fully functioning site; you plug in the text and images (no knowledge of HTML needed). The templates are designed to let you maintain and update your site by yourself — even if you know nothing about web design. You'll be able to put new information on your site in just seconds, without having to learn to use confusing site-building wizards or costly editing programs. Price includes templates, instructions, and AD LIB UPDATE panel.

Basic Plus:

We also offer our original templates plus site-architecture design and individual page layout, with coding that allows you to insert your own text and images, for $810 plus $35/page — up to 15 pages.

A uniquely designed home page and five subsidiary pages (six pages totaling up to 60 kilobytes in markup and scripting), plus your logo, navigation buttons, and up to 6 other images — start at $1,600. Price includes design, layout, image optimization, scripting, one interactive form, and conversion of your original text to Hypertext Markup Language. On request, and for a cost of $45 per page, we will provide coding that lets you easily and quickly update your site by yourself — from single words or images to entire pages.

Larger Sites

Our standard fees for existing sites

Together with you, we will determine the most effective course of action for making your site function as you envisioned it. Whether you need a simple correction taking less than an hour or a complete renovation, we are happy to take care of it.

Specific improvements are carried out on either an hourly or a contractual basis, whichever makes the most economic sense for you. Our current hourly charge is $100 for HTML mark-up, $160 for coding. Isolated problems, such as slow-loading pages, misrouted links, and malfunctioning forms, can often be fixed for as little as $100 to $150. Systemic problems — poorly constructed “site-in-a-box” templates, overuse or misuse of images, lack of features to facilitate access by the physically challenged, substandard coding, malformed scripts or style sheets — often require more time, and so are more costly, to repair.

Site additions, such as search engines, chat rooms, guest books, and bulletin boards, vary in price depending on complexity of the coding needed but can cost as little as $160. Additional pages range from $150 to $300 (rarely more), depending on style and content. Additional images range from $45 to $175 (rarely more) plus cost of creation (no extra cost if you supply the originals), depending on format constraints.

And all your improvements can be bundled under a twelve-month maintenance plan that gives you two hours for the price of one.
